Artist Bio - Maggie Doyle (Feminine Mystique Art Gallery)

Maggie Doyle is a nationally recognized fourth generation hand weaver with degrees in Art Education and Textiles. Over the last 20 years Maggie has been honored with various awards from numerous invitational and juried Fine Arts Festivals, including a competitive purchase award, for their permanent Textiles Collections, from the Smithsonian Institute in Washington, D.C.
 
Maggie Creates hand woven clothing, drawing her inspiration from the landscapes of her New Mexican home. This is reflected in her unique sense of color and design. Using natural fibers, dyes and hand spun yarns, the garments are finished with knitted trim and handmade buttons, making each piece truly and original.
