LINDA JOYCE ALLYN ARTIST BIOGRAPHY An artist since the age of 12, Linda’s stunning one-of-a-kind pieces are inspired by the landscapes and varied botanical environment that surrounds her rural Southwest home and studio. She explains her inspiration as revealing "my love of art and the magic that I envisioned as a child." Native Tucsonan Linda Allyn received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Married to fellow glass art master Richard Hornby, the two created Desert Fire Glassworks, in Linda's work reflects the love of art and magic that she first felt as a child. Her stunning sandblasted images of landscapes and botanical elements are meticulous in their color and detail. She also creates traditional vases, vessels, and sculptures. Linda Allyn’s work is included in the Loveland High Plains Arts Council Corporate Collection.
